Ethical Trading:

We want you as a customer to know that we source our products from manufacturers who meet recognised ethical trading standards. We want to know our products are fairly produced and have selected our base products from manufacturers who have been proven to achieve this.

It is as much important to us as it is to you to know that our base products have been provided by manufacturers that are recognised to support garment production that is socially compliant and performs no injustice to workers nor provides hazardous working conditions.

Look out for the following logos on each of our product so show what each manufacturer is doing to make sure they meet adequate ethical trading standards:

World Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP):

All of our base garments are certified by WRAP the independent Worldwide Responsible Accreditation Production program. This guarantees that they adhere to international ethical manufacturing standards as well as local laws and regulations.

WRAP has grown to become a global leader in social compliance. Its comprehensive inspection and certification process has made it the world's largest independent social compliance certification program for the apparel/textile industry.

WRAP has ‘12 Principles’ which it uses to give production certification and include standards to comply with local laws; not to use forced or under-aged workers; limit working hours and provide workers with adequate compensation and benefits; not be discriminative and respect the rights of employees to exercise their lawful rights; provide a safe and healthy work environment and living standard (if provided)and comply with environmental regulations, adhering also to applicable customs laws and securing shipments from contraband.

For more information on WRAP please see: www.wrapcompliance.org

In addition to WRAP, which covers all aspects of social and environmental compliance needed to ensure safe and legal working practices, some of the manufacturers we use also comply with the following organisations:

Oeko-Tex Confidence in Textiles:

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production.

Oeko-Tex 100 supports sustainable standards which ensure materials and products are tested to ensure that no illegal or harmful substances are used in the production of any of the garments made.

For more information about Oeko-Tex please see: www.oeko-tex.com/

Fair Labor Association:

The FLA Workplace Code of Conduct defines labour standards that aim to achieve decent and humane working conditions. The Code’s standards are based on International Labour Organization standards and internationally accepted good labour practices.

Companies affiliated with the FLA are expected to comply with all relevant and applicable laws and regulations of the country in which workers are employed and to implement the Workplace Code in their applicable facilities.
